ePart Conference is dedicated to innovative and rigorous eParticipation research and specifically provides a ground for researchers of distinct disciplines to come together and discuss advances of eParticipation research from distinct disciplinary angles.
The scope of the ePart 2009 covers the whole range of research in eParticipation with the principal aim to review research advances in both social and technological scientific domains, seeking to demonstrate new concepts, methods and styles of eParticipation.
The Workshop on “Demonstrating eParticipation Projects: Platforms and Pilots Evaluation”, held in conjunction with the 1st International Conference on eParticipation (ePart) 2009 on September 1st, 2009, brought together eParticipation researchers and stimulated discussion among representatives of Enterprises, Governments and European Commission on the practical achievements and current challenges of electronic participation research.
To achieve the above goal, the first part of the workshop was dedicated to real-life demonstrations and cases analysis, accompanied by additional relevant contributions from other international research projects, whereas the second part was dedicated to general policy making and eParticipation issues that formulate the future landscape of the domain.
