Irish eGovernment Awards brought together leading international and Irish eGovernment experts and practitioners for a one day eSymposium on Tuesday, 30 September 2008.

The eSymposium provided public sector professionals, from both central and local government, with a forum for the exchange of visions, ideas, practice, results and experience.

Julia Glidden addressed the event, discussing eParticipation in the Era of Web 2.0. She took the opportunity whilst there to discuss what the European Commission is doing in terms of eParticipation and promoted the work of the Momentum project, including handing out leaflets and networking.
